Deborah Schimmeck

Executive Director


Debbie has a degree in social work and has worked in social services, mental health, disabilities, disaster recovery, and youth work. She is a graduate of the Leadership Northshore Class and serves on the board of community and social service agencies in the community. Her passion is to serve individuals and families, lending a voice to those in need, and advocating for others in the Slidell community. 


Rev. Mark Wright, Ph.D

Miramon Housing Director


Mark is an ordained Reverend and Senior Pastor of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Slidell. He has a Ph.D. in Philosophy, Religion, and Theology and has taught Ethics, Bible, and Philosophy at Point Loma Nazarene University. Mark also has over 10 years of service to those in need within multicultural social settings.

Kevin E. Roark, Sr.

Program Coordinator


Kevin has a BS in Rehabilitation Services from LSUMC. He has been a job coach, job developer, and case manager for persons with mental illness or developmental disabilities. He has volunteered at CCC in the food pantry and as a counselor since 2011, as well as being an employee. Kevin is passionate about his love for Jesus and his desire to share that with others.

Lee is an ordained minister with over 20 years experience helping the community in various areas of business, ministry, missions, and outreach work. He loves people and counts it a great privilege to serve you

Teresa Landry

Finance Coordinator


Teresa has over 20 years experience in Non Profit Accounting, serving several Churches and Non Profit Organizations in our community.  She loves the mundane world of numbers -taking their chaos and creating something anyone can understand. Teresa has been at CCC for 17 years.


Ellen Sylve

Janet's Korner Store Manager


Ellen is a NOLA girl that started her career as a marine reservist. She has worked in the insurance industry, at AT&T, at Edward Jones, and as a caregiver. CCC has given her the opportunity to do what she loves. She feels empowered to help people in need and considers that truly a blessing.


Brenda Wright

Program Coordinator


Brenda has over 20 years of customer service and leadership experience, and has a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership. She loves meeting new people and is passionate about helping individuals reach their potential.
