Our volunteers are the working body of our organization and without them, we could not accomplish the various tasks necessary to serve those in need. Food Pantry Worker
Pantry Volunteers pack and dispense pre-determined food quantities to individuals and families. They also assist with unloading donated food and restocking the pantry food shelves.
Counselors interview clients and and connect them to appropriate community services. They assist with basic emergency needs and provide referrals and linkage to other agencies and ministries. If you have a listening ear and a non-judgmental heart this may be the job for you.
Thrift Store Workers
We need sales people to work in our thrift store. Duties may include, stocking shelves, setting up sales displays, maintaining the store in a neat and orderly fashion and assisting clients and the general public with their selections. This is a great job. for those who enjoy helping others.
We receive large amounts of shoes and clothing that need to be organized and sorted for both clients and the general public. If you are an organizer, we can put your skills to good use.
Front Desk / Receptionist
The front desk person is responsible for greeting clients, collecting information and assisting the clients with the application process. Tasks include, answering phones, booking appointments, filing and interacting with clients and counselors. Great position for someone who loves working with people.
If you are flexible and enjoy doing different tasks, consider volunteering as a floater. As a floater you will fill in as needed and have the opportunity to work in multiple departments. If you get bored easily and enjoy learning new things this is for you. Let us put your serving heart to work.
