How Do I Know If I'm Eligible?

  • Make an appointment with one of our counselors

  • Bring a photo ID

  • Proof of Address  (The Clothing Ministry serves Slidell, Alton & Pearl River)

  • Verification of Income 

  • We also help those experiencing loss from fires, personal emergencies, natural disasters etc.​​​​​

Janet's Korner is open to the general public and sells gently used & new shoes, clothing, & household goods. Please support us by shopping at Janet's Korner. All proceeds support our mission to feed, clothe, and house the less fortunate in our community.

  • Tuesday           9am - 2pm

  • Thursday         9am - 2pm

  • We can only accept clean items in good repair.

  • Please separate donated items (clothing in one box , shoes in one box, household items in another). This makes the sorting process easier for our volunteers. 

  • Clothing donations are always appreciated. We also appreciate houseware donations.

  • Large Furniture

  • Tube TV's

  • Computers & Printers

  • VCR's & VCR Tapes

  • Car Seats

  • Baby Beds

  • Construction materials (fixtures, tile, flooring etc.)

  • Knives

  • Books
