Volunteer Opportunities

Our volunteers are the working body of our organization and without them, we could not accomplish the various tasks necessary to serve our neighbors in need. We  invite you to serve alongside us in doing the work that our Father is calling us to do. We would love to meet you, introduce you to our team and discuss how you can be a part of our organization. Keep reading for descriptions of available volunteer opportunities.

Food Pantry Worker

Pantry Volunteers pack and dispense pre-determined food quantities to individuals and families. They also assist with unloading donated food and restocking the pantry food shelves.

Neighbor Advocate

Neighbor Advocates interview neighbors and connect them to appropriate community services. They assist with basic emergency needs and provide referrals and linkage to other agencies. If you have a listening ear and a non-judgmental heart this may be the job for you.

Thrift Store Workers

We need store associates to work in our thrift store. Duties may include, stocking shelves, setting up sales displays, maintaining the store in a neat and orderly fashion and assisting neighbors and the general public with their selections. This is a great job. for those who enjoy helping others.

Warehouse/Donator Sorter

We receive large amounts of shoes and clothing that need to be organized and sorted for both neighbors and the general public. If you are an organizer, we can put your skills to good use.

Receptionist / Clerical

The receptionist is responsible for greeting our neighbors, collecting information and assisting our neighbors with the application process. Tasks include, answering phones, booking appointments, filing and interacting with our neighbors and neighbor advocates. Great position for someone who loves working with people.

Maintenance  /Janitorial
